Please read a quick synopsis about each of the programs being offered on this application form here. For more detailed information, please read the position descriptions below. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet the requirements for each program before you select it.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. All applicants MUST READ the program requirements for the position they are applying for. If you have questions about your eligibility, please email or call us.

2. Click "Next Page" to continue. You can save your application and return to it later using the "Save my progress" link at the top or bottom of any page.

3. When finished, click "Submit". You will need to complete your electronic signature on the Final Review page, and then verify it via an emailed link.

4. Optional: If you submitted one or two references, after you submit your application the references you listed will automatically receive an email with a link to complete their reference form. We advise you to submit your application early in order to give your references time to submit their forms.

5. Lastly, call or email Kupu staff to confirm that all parts of your application, including both reference forms (if required), have been received before the deadline.

Our organization offers several other programs on Oʻahu for those under the age of 17, including the HYCC Community program, Kokua Camp, and Kākoʻo Connections. Notice for KAC Only

In accordance with SB2768, the State of Hawaii’s legislation for a Green Jobs Youth Corps, applicants must be 38 years old or younger throughout their program term to be eligible for participation in Kupu ʻĀina Corps. Your date of birth will be asked on the next page of this application, and will only be used to determine eligibility for participation based on this requirement.

Guidelines for selecting references: Use professional references from individuals that have known you for at least three months (e.g., teacher/professor, coach, employer, leader from a group you have volunteered with).
