INSTRUCTIONS

1.       All applicants MUST READ the program requirements for the position they are applying for below.  If you have questions about your eligibility, please email or call us.

2.     Click "Next Page" to continue.  You can save your application and return to it later using the "Save my progress" link at the top or bottom of any page.

 

3.      When finished, click "Submit".  You will need to complete your electronic signature on the Final Review page, and then verify it via an emailed link.

 

4.     After you have finished, your references will automatically receive an email with a link to complete their reference form.  We advise you to submit your application early in order to give your references time to submit their forms.

 

5.     Lastly, call or email Kupu staff to confirm that all parts of your application have been received before the deadline.


6.   HYCC-Summer currently offers positions on Maui and Oahu only. Select individuals on Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, and Molokaʻi may apply, only if they have been selected by a Host Site as a Direct Match. Please email hyccsummer@kupuhawaii.org if you have any questions.

You are welcome to submit a resume and one or two references to assist Kupu's partnering host sites to better evaluate your HYCC Summer application, but it is NOT required.


Are you currently applying to multiple Kupu programs?  If you are using the same references for your applications, they will need to fill out separate forms for each program or term you submit.  Please let them know in advance that they will be receiving multiple emails with a different web link for each of the separate program applications.  Our programs include HYCC Summer, Conservation Leaders, Environmental Education Leaders, and Kupu Aina Corps.


Guidelines for selecting references:  Use professional references from individuals that have known you for at least three months (e.g., teacher/professor, coach, employer, leader from a group you have volunteered with).  References cannot be immediate family members or close friends.  The individuals you list should be able to speak to your personal and professional attributes.  Please verify that you have entered all information correctly, including email addresses.
